helping with the '33

Last night, I helped Kyle work on the '33. I had a pretty good time and learned a lot! I even got my hands quite dirty (a big step for this nurse who can't stand to have dirty hands!) But can you blame me? Do you want your nurse to have grease under her nails when she's putting in your IV?

Anyhow, I helped him switch intakes on the '33 and Kyle had me do a majority of the work. He is such a great teacher and really patient with me while I learn. I know how to handle all of the tools, I'm just not experienced at it. I can't wait to go back out and help him again. It actually helped get me more excited about the car. I've always been excited, but actually putting it together made me really excited to see the finished product. I'm glad I have the summer off to learn more about the car and help. I want to help more because I learn by doing things rather than listening or reading about them. I learned way more last night helping Kyle than I ever would have learned from Kyle just telling me about the car.
