date night!

Saturday, after a car show at RC Willey's and the monthly Sam's Club stock-up, Kyle suggested that we go see a movie. I was so excited because we haven't been to the movies for a long time and we haven't been on a date (just the two of us) in a long time. We hurried home to unload the groceries and went to the theater. When we got to the theater, we chose to go see How to Train Your Dragon in 3-D. I was worried when we first got there because 2 little boys were sitting next to Kyle that shouted "WHOA" to everything that came on the screen before the previews even started, there was an elderly couple behind us that had never seen a movie in 3-D and a man in front of us who smelled so badly of cigarette smoke that I made sure he wasn't actually smoking in the theater. But once the movie started, I forgot everything! I absolutely LOVED the movie. It wasn't a phenomenal movie, but I loved the story, the characters, the animation, the music, and the 3-D. My favorite dragon was the main dragon, Toothless (see picture below). It was a great movie and I would love to see it again! Plus, all of the people I was worried about weren't too bad once the movie began! 

 

When the movie was over, we went to Farr's Ice Cream. Their mint-chocolate chip ice cream is the best ice cream ever! It was a great end to a great night! I love date nights and going out just the 2 of us! I want to do this more often (and hopefully while I'm out of school for the summer, we can!)
