The meeting with the new company (Maxim) went well, I suppose. They want all of us to stay and heavily emphasized that they will try to match our current wages and benefits as "close as humanly possible". I have a gut feeling that means there will be a cut in pay. However, Kyle and I already discussed this possibility and decided that I will take the job no matter what. That way, if they pay or the benefits aren't what I need or expect, I at least have guaranteed work while I look for a new job. They would like to meet with each of us individually within the next week to nail down wages, benefits and fill out Maxim's HR paperwork. So all in all, nothing I didn't already know or suspect.
I'm so sick of this waiting game...
