The last few weekends have also been great! Mostly because I got to spend it with some of my best friends: my sister, my husband and our cruiser friends! Caitie came up the last few weekends to spend time with us and go to some car shows.
Saturday, July 10
Caitie came up the night before so we could head out early for the Coalville car show. Our very good friend JC is the organizer of this great show, and we told him we would help with the show! We got there early, had a great breakfast and started setting up the show. We worked the kid's raffle table, which was pretty fun! It was a hot day, but I enjoyed spending time with great friends and family. It was also great because AJ's caddy is going to be on the shirt next year!!! Yay AJ!

We had a busy week in between: club cruise night Tuesday at Rovali's (yum!), Kyle's Company Lagoon Day Wednesday (fun!), and Clinton City Car Show Thursday (hot!).
Friday, July 16
Our very good friends Tracy & Royce put on their fifth annual Truly Classics Advanced Door car show (and second annual NSRA appreciation day.) They work terribly hard and put on a fantastic show despite the miserable hot weather. They have free snow cones, drinks, and hot dogs! (The snow cones were the best part because it was so hot!) Caitie came up for the night so after the show we decided to take her to Marc & Ruth's house with Mat and show her why we stay up until 3am with them! We had brownies & ice cream and played liverpool rummy until 1:30am!
Saturday, July 17
Caitie originally came up so Kyle could fix her air-conditioning system, but the parts wouldn't be in until noon, so we went to the Clinton City parade in the morning which was a blast! I prefer small hometown parades compared to expensive fancy parades; they feel so much more personal. We got some great candy too! We also went to the Aggies Car Show in Ogden. Just a quick stop to say hi, grab some Aggie Ice Cream and head out.

We picked up Caitie's parts and Kyle worked on the car while Caitie & I took the Mustang back to the storage shed. Long story short: Caitie's car gave us a few problems and Caitie ended up staying the night again so Kyle could finish it Sunday. We passed the evening by going to dinner with Marc & Ruth at my favorite Italian restaurant, Boccias. Caitie loved it! (I knew she would!)
Sunday, July 18
Kyle finished fixing Caitie's car; it runs cold as ice once again! After Caitie headed back home, Kyle and his dad went to pick up our new patio door!!! I'll keep you posted about that project in my other post, "from window, to door."
I'm so blessed to have wonderful cruiser friends, an amazing sister, and an amazing husband.
