HEY! We're alive!!!!

Well, I'm a wee bit behind....aren't I? It's been over a year since I last posted, but I'm hoping to get back in to the swing of things, especially with school winding down in the next few weeks.

A few reasons why the blog went dark (and how I hope to correct them):

• I started teaching full time at Weber State University January of 2012. It has kept me more than busy. In fact, it has kept me on the brink of insanity for the past year...
• Now that I've taught full time for a few semesters (and will be teaching the same courses this Fall) I should have more time...*should*
• I still work at the youth center Monday-Friday. 10 hours a week doesn't sound like much, but it's a killer on top of full time teaching
• Meh. No way to fix this...but I simply cannot let it go (for personal and professional reasons)
• We've been busy having car show and pinup fun!  And just generally having fun with all of our awesome friends!
• Watch for some re-cap blogs in the next few days/weeks to hopefully sum up the amazing year we've had!
• We're pretty good at documenting our antics, so naturally I should share them

A few reasons why the blog may fall silent once again (hopefully not...):

• I am starting a research project a work
• It will be a "quick" project, so from start (now) to finish (publication) I'm hoping it only takes 9-12 months, which is "quick" in the world of academia
• I am applying for PhD programs, with the intention of starting Fall 2014
• Really pushing the limits of my psychological integrity now...
• Kyle is looking in to MBA programs
• Both of us in grad school at once?!?! We are truly perfect for each other. Crazy. Maybe even certifiable. But perfect. And I wouldn't have it any other way!
