so in love with this song...

I heard this song a while ago (when I still had the free trial of Sirius XM in my car) and fell in love with it instantly. Now it's on the radio a lot more (which makes me do a happy dance!) 

I can't stop thinking about it and can't stop listening to it. It helped me remember just how much I love music and how much music can touch my soul. 

To me, it's a story of a young couple on the verge of a breakup (or divorce). They are still trying to hang on with everything they've got because they still love each other. While the story doesn't really apply to me (at all), the way it's told makes me feel anguish every time I hear it. 

I'm sad for the way they feel. 


I'm sad they think they have to do crazy things to try and make it work. 


I'm sad for the situation they're in. 


And mostly, I'm sad that they both know it's all in vain. 





While it's not exactly a happy song, it's an AMAZING song.
