graduation!!!

I can't believe the day finally came!!! It seems like it took forever! Getting my MSN degree is a huge achievement and I am so proud, excited, relieved, scared, happy, you name it!

It was an extra-special day for me because not only did I graduate with my degree but the very first 3 groups of students that I taught graduated with their RN's!!! I am so proud of them knowing that I helped them get there (a little bit!)

Picture Time!!! (thanks Caitie for taking all of these for me, she did excellent!)

Couldn't have done it without him!!!

Lastly, I need to thank all of the wonderful people who helped me get here:

My dear friends, co-workers, mentors and students (they listened to me complain and put up with my bouts of "space-case". Most importantly, they always supported and encouraged me.)

My amazing professors. They were more than teachers, but mentors as well. I can't explain how much they mean to me!!!

My in-laws (they were always there with encouragement and understanding even when I couldn't always be there.)

My parents (their support and influence helped me get where I am today. I can't thank them enough for helping me understand the importance of a good education and then giving me the support I needed to obtain it).

My sister (she is my life-line and one of my best friends. She always listened while I would whine, yell, & complain. She would not take it personally; she did exactly what I needed: listen and empathize.)

And last, but most definitely not least, is my husband. Kyle has been my rock, my support, my motivation, my friend and my partner in this endeavor. He would put up with my crying fits of "I'm never...*sob*... gonna...*sob*... graduate..." (and he should be sainted for that because they were pretty frequent towards the end). He made sure I didn't give up even when I considered it. He put up with the crazy working hours, the homework scattered all over the house, the love and colorful language I put into every project, the constant forgetfulness and scattered mind.

But most of all he loved me through all of this...in spite of my temporary (hopefully) insanity.

Thank You! Thank You! Thank You!

Now for my PhD! (Seriously. I'm considering it...help us all! And bless you Kyle, in advance!)
