first time at drag racing!

For his birthday, Kyle wanted to go to the drag races at Rocky Mountain Raceway (RMR). I really love going to car shows with Kyle, but I only like going to races; it's not my favorite thing to do, but it's definitely one of Kyle's favorite things. To keep myself entertained, I play a little game and find a car I like (usually because of the paint or the driver's funny name) and root for it all night! It helps keep me into the race. I actually prefer dirt tracks over anything, or so I thought

I LOVED the drag strip! I had a blast! It did rain which delayed the racing for a while but it gave us a chance to roam around the pits and look at all of the dragsters racing that night. I didn't even have to play silly little games to keep myself entertained! My favorite part was watching them when it got dark! And also watching the crazy motorcycles! I think you have to be kind of crazy to drag race, but you have to be insane to drag race motorcycles! 

Caitie came with and she liked it too! (Gotta try everything once!) Our friend, Mike, and his brother, Bobby, work at RMR as announcers for the drag strip. Mike paid for our tickets (Thanks again, Mike!) and then they announced Kyle's birthday throughout the whole night! They are awesome commentators!

I can't wait to see professional drag racing at an NHRA track!!!! (I like watching it on TV with Kyle and have always wanted to go for the experience, but now we have to go cause I'm hooked!)
